I write about conservation and wildlife and am very passionate about being as eco-friendly in my own life as possible. I love traveling around the world and seeing wildlife and amazing landscapes, and doing cool things like trekking through Nepal, Scuba diving with sharks, going to the Galapagos Islands, and that kind of thing. I know that I need someone I am compatible with on both a passionate (heart) level and a rational (mind/compatibility) level.
I would love to find someone who loves active outdoor activities, traveling, and discussing everything from politics to science to relationships (gasp!) ;) I am an unabashed liberal, and I'll just be honest - it would take an extraordinary man, who is a conservative, to be a partner for me. Friends, no prob (and hey I would really love someone to just hang out with too as friends!) but if you have to talk smack about Obama, or say Dems just wants gifts and handouts, we are not going to get along. I value education and intelligence and try to be a very thoughtful in my political opinions and I have absolutely no problem with a genuine conservative who is respectful of other people's views (but no Tea partiers, or people who disparage progressive views). There ya go. That said, I am also a spiritual-but-not-religious Christian, even a "Jesus Freak" though I won't push it on you and I was an atheist for many years before coming to my own faith.
These are all recent pictures. Fitness and health are very important to me! I love me some kale! LOL. :D I also have a great sense of humor and love to be silly, laugh, and well, a little bit of a smartass sometimes :)
