A random smattering of information about me: I'm originally from the East Coast, though I've since lived all over the country and overseas a bit as well. I moved here from Alaska in December. Loving the lack of bears and ice; missing the skate skiing and mountains a bit.
I have a passion for food/wine and love to try new things, both at home and in the excellent array of Houston restaurants. I'm addicted to music and my tastes are extremely varied. I love books but don't read nearly enough these days. I don't have a television, and my self-medication drug of choice these days is yoga.
About him: I'm looking for someone to have fun with, explore the city with, and perhaps join in learning random new things. They have to be at ease in museums and around hard-bound books, and be up for a bit of spontaneity and comfort-zone excursion every now and then. I tend to work pretty hard, so I'm most compatible with people that have a similar drive/lifestyle. I'm probably too busy for a serious relationship right now, but looking for someone like-minded to explore the city and have fun with. If we really hit it off and you turn out to be the love of my life, then clearly my priorities will shift accordingly.
An ability to communicate is a must. My mind-reading skills are improving but not quite honed yet...
Sarcasm is always welcome.
Oh, and brownie points for college football fans...
