Raising two kids (ages 10 and 6) on my own and loving it! Couldn't imagine going through life without being a dad. Each year gets better and better. Have devoted most of my time to my kids but understand I need to set aside time for me too and take care of myself so I can be a great dad for them. Not sure what I'm looking for at this point, but I do know it should be someone I can see myself with into old age. Someone I enjoy spending time with and can talk to and laugh with. This someone should be independent and confident and able to spend time on his own interests but also be able to spend quality time with his partner and kids. This person must (obviously) want to be part of a family and interested in "co-parenting" children. I know it's not for everybody but it is the best thing I have ever done and very important to me. I also strongly believe we all need to look inward and know ourselves so we can continue to grow. This growth is never complete, but continues all of our lives. Personal growth can be difficult but it is also its own amazing reward. It's great looking back and seeing how much I have changed over the years.
