I am a southern CA guy born and raised who works hard during the week but functions better on the weekend. My friends would describe me as a music junkie with a brain full of random knowledge (important / useless knowledge, but mostly useless), and a funny yet honest sense of humor.I play alot of baseball, really enjoy snowboarding ,running weight training, I'm a major foodie guy, but most of all drumming and percussion.
Family is extremely important to me and I love to surround myself with friends that don't take life too seriously, don't wear "affliction" T-shirts, and love to laugh out loud. Over the years, I have come to realize that laughter and the ability to laugh at yourself is not only an importat quality but actually it's essential. Life is too short to be uptight or negative. (Deep Thoughts.....by Jack Handy). The geek in me loves sci-fi books/movies, jazz festivals, Astronomy, but sometimes would rather kick back and bbq with some good friends. I should probably mention that I have an actual "real" job, may be important to some. I'm an asset manager and work for a large financial institution in Orange County. I do my best to balance work and play consistently.
I would like to meet someone who is socially outgoing, and witty,with a little sarcasm. A fun girl to me would be honest, cultured ; spontaneous, but doesn't need to go clubbing every Friday night.........especially since I retired my leather pants years ago. Oh, and a minimal criminal record would be nice to.
