I am a Physician Assistant student at UK looking to get involved in sports medicine once I graduate. I love sports and have been around them all my life. I will watch or play just about anything and I'm the girl that plans her day around the big game. I like being active and have run a few marathons and did the Ironman in Louisville in 2011. I swam my freshman year at UK and am a big UK basketball and football fan. My parents both graduated from Purdue University, so part of my heart will always belong to the boilermakers. Both of my parents are also from the Chicago area, so I was brainwashed from day one and love all Chicago sports teams. If you can't throw a football, hit a baseball, or shoot a basketball, we might not hit it off!
I tend to be on the sarcastic side and love to joke around, laugh, and have a good time but I can be serious when I need to be. If you can catch on to my sarcasm and aren't easily offended then you're probably one step ahead of everybody else in my book.
I'm a Christian and my faith is very important to me. I'm not a judgmental person and I'm a good listener. I'm very motivated and driven to succeed but can also relax and just enjoy life. I'm not a huge fan of the bars and, if given a choice, I prefer sweat pants and a t-shirt, but I do like to get dressed up and go out on occasion. I'm not afraid of a little hard work and have spent summers mowing lawns with my brothers. I don't like things being handed to me; I try to work for everything I get, but am grateful for anything that has been given to me. If you have any other questions, just ask! Not necessarily looking to jump into something serious right away but I think friendship is a good start!
