I'm originally from Mississippi and have been in Austin a little over two years. I really like the city, always numerous things to go do and enjoy. I'm giving match a try because I don't have a consistent way to meet someone. I'm an independent medical distributor so I travel a little bit but it seems to be slowing down for me to stay in town more often. Would like to meet someone to enjoy all what Austin has to offer.
I did live downtown in a loft when I first moved here but didn't really like the idea of trying to meet someone in a bar. I'm rather laid back so a loud and packed place to listen to a band is ok, just don't do it every week. Also not the type of guy to come up and give you a line about the stars and your eyes or however it goes!
I can tell you that opening doors, pulling out chairs, walking you to the door after a date are all common sense to me. Actually surprised that being a southern gentlemen is more of an exception than a rule now however. I also have been given the compliment of being a genuine person and that my friends value our true friendship.
Looking forward to possibly meeting a professional, genuine, and outgoing person. :)
