Fair warning, I am quite 'old' for my age, and have been stereo-typed a bit on match, don't let "26" fool you, understandably, it is difficult to get a feel for someone beyond virtual preliminaries, so with that caveat, here it goes:
I've always dreamt of a life full of adventure, family, new experiences and travel. I am fascinated by languages, and other cultures. I spend most of my time in an extremely challenging, but rewarding job as a Senior Analyst for the Department of Defense. In my free time I enjoy running, mixed martial arts, traveling and spending as much time as possible in the great outdoors.
I am a drama free, loving person who enjoys laughter and challenges. I am constantly trying to better myself. I admire wit, intellect, compassion, maturity and positivity in a man. By far the most attractive feature in a partner is a man who is secular and can articulate his thoughts clearly and intelligently, as well as, being able to balance manliness and intellect with love and compassion. I enjoy witty emails, and healthy discussions. I am romantic, passionate, hard-working, caring, independent, curious, resourceful, dynamic, laughter-seeking, ambitious, thoughtful, tenacious, peaceful, and optimistic.
I've never been a fan of 'over-doing' the 'club' or 'party' scene, if that is important to you, we may not be a good fit :)
I have a tendency to be brutality honest but am also fiercely compassionate, tender and loving. The greatest resource we have is love, no?
I'm borderline obsessed with the situation in the Middle East/Central Asia, and am fascinated beyond the news worthy headlines. My intrigue is deep and complex. I am also interested in any charitable contribution geared towards bettering the lives of children (time/money). Euphoric doesn't begin to describe the feeling you get when you've improved someone's quality of life. My drive for betterment in this arena is insatiable.
If you've read the 5 Love Languages (if you haven't, definitely check it out, especially all you singles out there trying to connect) I am a "Words of Affirmation" and "Physical Touch" personality. I am a serious cuddler, and do feel value through words.
On any given day you'll find me either in a business suit or workout clothes. I love to cook, watch movies and spoil my family. I have a twin sister who is my polar opposite and best friend. I throw myself into my work, which explains my singledom, but would not settle for anything less than a partner who is better than me and challenges me to live life to the fullest. I am not a fan of casual dating, and the thought of meeting strangers is daunting, but certainly worth a shot if I meet someone worthy of committing to.
