I suppose I am a somewhat refined country girl with a true appreciation for intelligent conversation with someone that is young in body and spirit. I don't pretend to be someone/something I'm not; I endeavor to remain true to myself. I'm very humble and I truly have a compassionate, caring heart. I can't imagine a day of my life without God. If you don't feel the same, we are probably not a match! Hopefully people can see my faith in God through how I treat others and how I live my life. I enjoy being active and/or engaging in intellectual conversation. Therefore, if you watch TV and movies excessively, I would not be a good match for you. My TV is rarely turned on... only to catch the news or weather.
After giving it much thought, I wish to disclose that I would like to meet...my best friend, my soul mate, the person who will always have my back (and I'll have theirs), to share the depth of love and commitment where you'd lay down your life for each other. I know that exisits, but I also know it is rare. It seems most difficult to find online.
I have 2 children that are grown and live away from home. I love them dearly and miss them, but I am proud of the paths they have chosen. I am looking for a relationship with someone that is about at the same place in life I am. Someone who "gets" me, and I get them. I would like to share my life with a Christian man that is interested in experiencing everything life has to offer with a woman that dares to be true to her own values and chooses not to conform.
About me: I truly enjoy volunteering and helping those that are less fortunate. I would like to do more volunteering with my significant other. I am loyal to those that are close to me; I have a kind heart and a giving nature. I am soft spoken, calm, and I always endeavor to be nice to everyone.
I don't particularly enjoy being in crowds, but rather more intimate settings. I love being outside enjoying nature, preferably doing some type of physical activity. Spending time on a lake is a bit of heaven to me. I hope to have a lake home some day. Good health practices are very important to me. Exercise and good nutrition are a big part of my life. I don't eat fried foods and I tend to eat a lot of steamed vegetables, salads, grilled fish and chicken. I prefer to have a partner that is also very health conscious.
I'm generally attracted to a non-smoker with a clean-cut look, with NO facial hair. My perfect match would share at least one of my interests, he would introduce me to his interests, and try new things with me. He would be well spoken and intelligent. He would put God first in his life, be loving, non-confrontational, and a good communicator. He would be loyal to me and our relationship. He would be willing to accept me as I am, love me unconditionally, and help me to be the best person I can be. I would hope he was insightful enough to look beyond appearance and that he would fall in love with my heart. Outer beauty fades, but inner beauty is eternal.
