I moved here from a small-town in Illinois about 6 years ago and I have started making DC my forever home. On the weekends, Im usually outdoors with my dog, whether it's hiking in Great Falls or at Eastern Market. I am addicted to traveling and experiencing new cultures and places--I have been diving in the Great Barrier Reef, on a safari in the Serengeti, and most recently delivered a prayer note at the Western Wall. There is still more of the world Id love to see with Greece and Italy at the top of my list. Im hoping to find someone who shares this same passion for traveling and is willing to eventually join me, even if it's catching the last Chinatwon bus for a weekend getaway to NYC. I also really enjoy cooking and think that some of the best dates involve making dinner at home together with a bottle of wine and good conversation.
While it should go without saying, I appreciate someone with good values who genuinely cares about other people and isn't a "what's in it for me?" type of guy. I think an important part of any relationship is communication and not losing sight of all little things that make up a successful relationship. I hope to find someone who is honest with themselves and with me, will challenge me, and most importantly, is able to have fun and not take life so seriously.
