It is always hard to describe yourself as others see you. I am unusual, although everybody says that about themselves. The best I can say is that I am the nerdiness of Big bang Theory, the lightheartedness of a disney character, the rough edges of a scottish lass, and the energy of a dancer rolled up into one person. I am constantly doing things that show epic brilliance.... followed by funny stupidity that makes you think "really? really??" :D. I have a doctorate and love the work I get to do with patients, and I am a ballroom dancer who who will dance anywhere my feet find music. :) I have a very firm sense of self and also of responsibility to those around me and how my actions effect the whole. I have heard that I am good at reading the mood of a situation and adapting my energy level to suit it. I am fun and silly when that is suitable, and I am a good listener who is calm and relaxing when that is needed. I try to stay active and feel productive, but at the end of the day, I settle down on the couch with a good book or a good movie and chill. On weekends I am usually either with friends yelling advice at characters in old monster movies with some popcorn or out about atlanta looking for places to dance.
As for what I am looking for, I don't have a big long list of traits that I want. it is not "list of things" that people really look for. it is the result of the list that we really want. we want to find someone who makes us grin like we are five and just got our first pony ride. I care if they can make me smile and I can make them smile, not if they have nice teeth. I care if I can laugh with them and they can laugh with me, not their sense of humor. etc etc etc. you get the point. I want a guy who gets himself, enjoys and appreciates it, and is willing to work with me in life to where we make each other happy. That guy is at the top of my list.
