I am originally from Charlotte, NC (a true Carolina girl) but I am an Air Force brat so I was born in Tokyo and have lived all over the country and the world at various times in my life. I love traveling and would love to head back to Europe soon, and I would definitely LOVE to visit ALL 50 states in my life. My favorite colors are red and black, favorite numbers are 5 and 8, favorite time of the year is Fall/Autumn when leaves are turning and falling, things are getting chilly, and I need to snuggle!; favorite food is Mexican; I love rain, the ocean, swimming – well, let’s face it, I love any and all water! I LOVE RAIN and COLD nights with fireplaces; I love smiles and children and water and hot air balloons and outrageous laughter, and mothers, and sons who love their mothers!; I LIVE by my heart but can get in touch with my mind if needed or required; I love teaching and making a positive difference in students' lives; I consider myself sensitive and sensual, a woman who can be serious about life and love - but who enjoys being with others who can make me smile and laugh out loud.
JUST FOR FUN - I will share that I am AFRAID of: great white sharks, being bitten by a great white shark, being eaten completely by a great white shark; the classic film series "Jaws," falling, smothering and/or drowning (basically feeling as if I cannot breathe, although I LOVE the ocean); being misunderstood; not being trusted; disappointing others; missing someone and not being missed in return; dying without fully living beforehand; and any small bit of a lack of self-awareness.
