Who am I? A video producer and editor currently working for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, with a passion for my job and a keen interest in learning. My work lets me interview scientists about their research, film spacecraft, and share NASA's latest findings with the public through fun and informative videos. I'm genuinely psyched to be living in an age of discovery and love the challenge of communicating it.
Who am I when I'm not working? A rock climber, backpacker, fair weather cyclist and armchair photographer. Outdoor pursuits with comrades in arms consume my weekends spring through fall...when winter comes 'tis the season for indoor friends and family, old paperbacks, movies, ibuprofen and beer. And skiing.
Who are you? A complex, unique, and creative individual. You're passionate about your career and want it to have a positive impact on the world, but you're also a realist and skeptic and understand that the world doesn't change overnight. When you're not at work you're pursuing outdoor sports, setting measurable goals and training to achieve them. You enjoy competition and embrace failure after failure without loss of enthusiasm (Churchill's definition of success). You love traveling to outdoor destinations, exploring the wilderness, building campfires and waking up with frost on your sleeping bag. You're cool with not showering for the weekend and okay with dirt under your fingernails, but you also appreciate books, movies, culture etc. when the off-season rolls around.
Sound like you? A rough facsimile? If so then drop me a line, I can't wait to meet you.
