If I had to prioritize what I most enjoy doing socially, I would have to say dining out, especially trying new restaurants. You would think I would consider myself a “foodie”, but my palate is not that sophisticated. Pizza would prevail over escargot or duck confit'. For me, it’s all about the ambiance and the socializing aspect. And I say this with no shame – it’s mostly about “bellying up to the bar” as my good friend DG would say. I’m also a big fan of the FOOD Network. Watching chefs cook, critic and compete fascinates me. This is a surprising fascination since I have zero culinary skills. I do plan on learning someday though.
For the past two years, Palm Springs has become my favorite weekend getaway. Partly because have a place there and I really enjoy the great restaurants (are you beginning to see a pattern here) and lets not forget the casinos. I have been known to play a slot machine or two… but mostly - it’s just so darn beautiful.
Other areas of interest -I once collected records and had a photography career. Now that translates to just downloading music and taking pictures with my cell phone.
So I have shared some areas of interest of mine. Restaurants - Palm Springs – all way more fun when you have someone to enjoy them with. I am also am open to trying new things with you.
