I was raised in the city but really enjoy living in the country. There is nothing better than waking up every morning to see my horses grazing in the pasture with deer and turkey.
I am a career woman and have worked for the same company for over 26 years. I really enjoy my current position.
I am very fortunate to have a large circle of supportive friends who consider me loyal and trustworthy. Since I am open and honest in my thoughts and actions I don't care for drama or deception.
In the summer I enjoy camping, trail riding (my newest endeavor) and going to county fairs, country concerts, rodeos and tractor pulls. In the winter I enjoy cooking and baking. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I just love the cozy, warm feeling of the season. A trip to the sunny Caribbean in the dead of winter is my ideal vacation destination. Unforfunately, this is a bit difficult with all my animals to care for.
I work very hard but not to the point of being overly serious. I am not a perfectionist and am happy with myself for doing my best. I am not competetive and don't really care if I win or lose. It's the fun of the experience that makes me happy. After all, it is the journey that counts, not the destination.
I enjoy laughing and having a good time but never in a hurtful or offensive way. I am thoughtful and respectful of other's feelings. I am happiest when I am doing something for someone else. I'm comfortable in most social settings but find that it is the simple things in life that are most important. (A good shoe sale doesn't hurt, either)
Honesty, respect, thoughtfulness, values and an easy, relaxed, playful demeanor are all traits that I look for.
I am not very forward and will most likely wait for you to approach me. My goal is to take one day at a time, have fun and see where life takes me.
