Just moved to North County (Feb 2013), really enjoying it so far. Things are going great, work is great, family/friends are great, life is good. I'm looking for someone smart, fun, and spontenous to enjoy things with. I really like hanging out with adventurous and/or spontaneous people. My profile probably seems kind of serious, but all I do is joke around (when I'm not working).
I work hard, so a stress relieving happy hour, dinner with vino, and weekend getways are mandatory to maintaining my sanity. I crack up at shows/movies like Curb Your Enthusiasm, Parks N Rec, Arrested Development, and anything with Will Ferrell. I'm also hoping to see more music now that I'm back in SD...My Morning Jacket is playing some shows in LA soon, I'll be at one of those, for sure.
Snowboarding is my favorite thing to do, so if you enjoy the mountains that would be great. I try to stay active/fit, I was playing in a couple basketball leagues (would love to find someone to shoot around with), and used to do triathlons (back in the day). I play guitar, when I can find/make time.
I recently (Jan 2012) went on a 3 week volunteer trip to Panama, by myself. Playing with the kids was awesome, teaching the adults english was so fun, and exploring the country was amazing...not to mention the surf was pretty good too. I think it's important to volunteer, fundraise, do something, every once in a while (I'm no saint and I know it, but it made me feel good and allows me to live my selfish life with a little less guilt, haha). So even if you don't want to date, but if you know of a cool volunteer opportunity, let me know. I also think travelling is pretty important (and fun) too, exploring new places/cultures/etc. A couple places I enjoyed were Indonesia, Australia, Costa Rica, and I'm looking forward to another trip.
