I'm a laid back individual who is looking for a romantic partner in life. I have been blessed with both a great family and wonderful friends and it would be preferrable to have someone with whom I make a strong and lasting connection. Although I absolutely value the time I spend my friends, every one of them is married and at times I can feel a bit like the odd one out.
I have a very adaptable personality and have the ability to fit in to a lot of different and new situations...in fact, I find such instances invigorating. Another part of my personality is that I am an introvert. Initially, I may come across as shy but once comfortable with my surroundings I tend to add a good bit to the conversation. If you're the outgoing type, I'm perfectly fine with that as I am a good listener...it's true, I'm not just playing to the perceived sensitivities of women. :)
Despite being in my 30s, I am not of the mindset to get married for the sake of being married. I ultimately want a relationship that results in marriage but I want to be sure that I am making the absolute right decision. I would like to find a woman that shares many of my same values...I guess that's nothing surprising but I have a pretty good idea of who I am, and although I am open-minded on certain things, there are parts of my belief system that are pretty well-rooted. If I find someone who holds an opposite view, I would hope there would be a good bit of civility and respect present.
Health and fitness is an aspect of my life that I take quite seriously. While I enjoy gorging on food occasionally, I adhere to a diet of a moderate and reasonable serving size. I also enjoy exercising which includes lifting, running, swimming, walking, any way to exert myself physically. I would hope to find someone who takes their health as seriously as I do. That's not to say you have to be built like a model but it is having the understanding that good physical health important for many reasons.
