I'm laid-back, independent-minded, easy-going, educated, have a sense of humility, am goofy at times, shy most of the time, have opinions and prefer to dress down than dress up. I'm a kid at heart but I also know when to take life seriously. I am not your typical obsessive chick; I completely understand the need for "alone time" as I need it too. I greatly enjoy watching sports. If there's a Yankee, Panther (hockey), Gator or Jet game on I'm watching it. If not, any sport other than golf or nascar will do. I used to play softball, football, basketball and tennis but haven't in quite some time. ESPN, ID Discovery, MSNBC and A&E are my favorite channels. I dig watching true crime stuff because I have a degree in Psychology and still can't get over some of the things people are willing to do over some stupid stuff. I do not like to travel which I'm finding out is a unique quality...who knew? To clarify, I will not get on a plane; however, getting in a car for a weekend trip is perfectly OK with me. I haven't tried cruises but am not opposed to them.
I'm looking for someone who would enjoy going out to dinner, catching a movie, going to a Panther game, shooting some pool, throwing some darts or hanging out with friends. I consider myself low-maintenance as I usually wear jeans, have my hair in a ponytail and no make-up because with me, who I am is who you get. I am a typical chick in that I get my nails done and have a weakness for pocketbooks but am not really into the shoe thing because I don't wear heels. Trust me, there's nothing sexy about me in heels :) I smoke but I need to quit and have gotten myself down to 5-6 a day. I am also the kind of smoker who respects non-smokers and I can go without one in the company of others without getting my panties in a bunch. I don't drink alcohol because I don't like the taste of anything but I really don't like people who drink to get drunk. There's nothing wrong with having a few drinks but to take it to the drunken stupor level all the time would annoy me.
It would be nice to find someone with similar traits and interests...especially the goofy thing :) Other than the fact that I own an invisible jet and wear a red and yellow costume complete with a crown and magic lasso in my spare time, I'll leave other tidbits about myself for a later time. After all, I need to keep some mystery alive...
