Well, I'm on here because I found myself on the wrong side of a friendly bet. I've never tried a site like this before but I'm completely open to the idea and looking forward to new opportunities.
I grew up on a small farm North of Pittsburgh but have been fortunate enough to have done quite a bit of traveling. I went to the University of Pittsburgh after high school and also worked in the city until I spontaneously decided to move to San Diego (long story behind that), where I lived/worked for a little over a year. I spent a short time near my brother in Northern Colorado (love that state) before work brought me back to the East coast.
Hmm... that was boring, wasn't it?
I guess I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for from this site but I absolutely know what I'm looking for in a relationship. I'm always open to anything... keeping an open mind, it's something I try to live by. YOLO? No. Pop culture has turned that word into nothing but an annoyance. Anyways, regardless of what I may or may not be looking for, I always enjoy meeting and getting to know new people. On a more serious note, I'm very dedicated when it comes to relationships. I don't settle down easily, but I play for keeps when I do. Going out of may way on a regular basis to see or do nice things for for somebody is not a something that even registers on my radar. I'm more than happy to do things like that for the people I care about. It would be nice to have somebody who can appreciate that. I get a strange enjoyment from refusing to conform to the norms of society - but don't laugh when I open your car door for you or help you with your chair at the dinner table. Chalk up a few brownie points for yourself if you're passionate, have goals, and enjoy diving into projects.
I guess that paragraph wasn't much better.
On the more interesting side, I like to be spontaneous. No, more tnan that. I feed off of excitement at times. I think it makes me feel more alive. I like to try new things and see new places. I stay in shape and keep active. Weird fact: I almost dropped out of my first year of college because I thought I wanted to try to ski professionally - until I had a nasty ski accident that changed my mind. I have a scar on my left side from chicken pox in 2nd grade (I had it twice and yup, I survived. That's how cool I am) and I often convince people that it's a bullet wound. Everybody falls for it.
Trying to summarize myself is silly on here. If you're curious, ask.
