Hey guys. My name is Katy. I am a Guest Relations Host at the National Museum of Play at the Strong as well as a Nanny. I'm from a small town in upstate NY called Williamson. I'm sort of a dork and I love to hang out and have fun. =) I tend to be a fairly outgoing, happy person. I love to experience and learn new things. My friends and family- the relationships I've had and will have are the most important things in my life. I love to do crazy, goofy things. I am still, and will always be a big kid... I can be very mature but I strongly believe that life would be just plain boring if people didn't let loose at least once in awhile. I'm pretty easily amused. I love animals, tattoos, bad movies and creating my own goofy fun. I am a very passionate person in general. Other than the people in my life, the arts- mostly theatre- are what keep me most sane (or happily insane.) I can be kind of cheesy. I love to laugh. One of my biggest dreams is to travel, learn about other cultures and beliefs and to help people in every way possible. Umm... What else? I'm a pretty motherly person and I love kids. I'm always worried about other people. In fact, I'm happiest when I am helping people and when the people around me are happy. I'm looking for someone who shares- or respects- my beliefs and passions and who can make me smile (which is not hard to do.) =) Like I said, I love the arts and I love learning about different cultures. I have very diverse tastes in things like movies and music. I also fell in love with ASL and deaf culture and I can't wait to learn more.
As for what I want in a guy, I want someone I can feel at completely comfortable with but who can still surprise me. I want someone who wants to take care of me but who lets the roles be reversed too. I want there to be a good balance between wanting to be with each other and trusting one another enough to be able to have our time apart as well. I'm not looking for anything too serious as I just got out of a relationship and I am all about figuring myself out. I want to be able to explore life, experience new things and meet new people! =)
Random fact: I'm sort of a hopeless romantic. If a guy ever sings or quotes Shakespeare to me, I'm done. There's no way I could fight that. Haha. If you have any questions, ask!
