I have varied interests in food, music, culture, and politics. Not necessarily looking for someone who likes or thinks the exact same things, but someone with an intellect and interests that can keep me engaged. I'm not the domineering type, so definitely looking for someone with personality and goals, and who can hold her own in a conversation. Must have a sense of humor, and be able to keep up when it comes to banter. Someone who's socially and politically aware. To give you an idea, I read a lot of Andrew Sullivan, Ta-Nahesi Coates, and Krugman. Love This American Life, The Moth, and Radiolab, so I guess that makes me an NPR geek.
