I wanted to try an a different approach to writing my profile -- apart from just listing a bunch of adjectives (although I did do that at the end. So, here you go -
If you email me, I would love it if you could share some things you love. They could be actual things, people, memories, smells, experiences etc.
Some of mine are
- Music
- Getting the job I wanted working at a record company. It was a lot of fun until it really wasn't.
-The first time I sang in front of an audience with a live band backing me up. It was the best high.
-How unbelievable it was when Obama was elected(again.) It made me (temporarily) less cynical about our country.
-Traveling - almost anywhere
-The quiet while/just after it snows
-Good coffee - especially the first cup of the day.
-Watching the Daily Show. I could not love anything more (I know that's a bit hyperbolic, but how great is that show??.....).
-Learning to speak Italian.
-Hanging out with my nephews and niece when they were younger - before they developed a mind of there own and became less "enchanted" with me.
-The beach - any season.
Here's some additional info about me--
- I am pretty straight forward. I don't know how to play games - was not born with that gene.
- I am drama-free (for the most part.) I had my years of it and, now it's just too exhausting!
- I can be quite charming :-)
- I am, apparently, funny even when I don't mean to be - my sense of humor tends to be on the dry side.
- I am smart and love to learn new things.
- I am pretty honest.
- I tend to ask a lot of questions
