Well, here goes.... Hello!
My name is Dora and my close friends call me Dee. I moved from Arizona about five years ago with the intention of only staying one year, but Im still here and I really miss the sunshine!
I've been divorced for nine years and I think I'm ready to be swept off my feet. However, if we meet and we feel friendship is best, then Im all for that too!! :)
I'm an honest, loving, caring, and very considerate person who still enjoys treating the right man like a king. I'm extremely loyal, humble, and a bit old school. I can be shy at first, but warm up quickly once I've gotten to know you. This dating site thing is not easy for me, as I don't like to talk about myself too much, at least not at first. If I feel a connection, I don't have a problem with it. However, I'm actually a very private person, so it takes me a bit longer to relax and open up. Truth be told....The guys on here I have emailed, didn't respond, and the ones I have no connection with are the ones emailing... Lol! Go figure!!! Guess that's the way it goes...ha!
I'm fun and sometimes spontaneous. I love life and love to laugh, especially at myself! :) I enjoy hanging out with friends and family. I enjoy going to Napa for wine tasting. I love taking trips to Mexico once a year, Tahoe a couple times a year. And although I don't gamble, i really love Vegas. I like going to the shows and doing some shopping. I've traveled Europe for a month and visited 14 countries. It was a while ago, but I'd like to go back to Spain some day.
I'm am an easy going person. I'm a clean freak and love to keep a neat and tidy home. Believe it or not, cleaning relaxes me. Ha! I enjoy cooking and I'm pretty good at it! And, I think it's a turn on when a man puts on an apron too. I'm a God loving person and my faith is important to me. For exercise I enjoy running, biking, hiking, yoga and salsa dancing. I'd like to go white water rafting some time soon too. I'm a very playful person and enjoy wrestling for fun (a kind of foreplay). Ha! Whats wrong with that? I can be a bit of a kid too!.. I'm extremely generous and thoughtful. I'm a romantic and I love to be spoiled, as I also enjoy spoiling the right person in return. I'm a mature, confident, and attractive woman that doesn't play ridiculous mind games. I know what I want and what I don't want. I don't like drama. I like living my life in peace, so if you have tons of crazy baggage, your probably not for me.
Some people like to move fast, but I don't. This is my life and I'm not in any hurry. I'm confident that the right person for me is out there. If I find him great, if not, that's cool too. Some men want to feel needed, i like to think I don't "need" a man, but I would sure like to share the rest of my life with one. It's important you love kids. I have four grown kids, 32, 30, 24 10. My children all live in Az. Except one, and all of them mean the world to me. It's also important you like family, because I have a huge crazy one and they too mean a lot!
It's not easy finding our perfect match, but no one is perfect. I would just like to find a man with good morals and values. Someone who is responsible. Someone with integrity and that is respectful, loving, and genuinely kind. Someone that is honest, loyal and humble. Someone that is spiritual like I am. Someone that doesn't lie or cheat, or mistaken's my goodness for weakness. I can't stand selfish people that only think of themselves. I like the "mans man" type..:) A guy who can do a bit of everything. I think its so attractive when a man doesn't mind getting his hands dirty! Someone that can love passionately and unconditionally and doesn't mind being affectionate in public.
