I smile a lot (even though not in my pics, apparently). I'm very easy going. I bring ideas to the table, but I'll listen to yours as well. I like to make it work, make things happen, and have a good time while we're at it. And I'm not afraid to admit when I'm wrong.
I try to get out and take advantage of what the life has to offer as much as I can. The beach is where I'm happiest. I love going to concerts in the parks, films on rooftops, site specific modern dance pieces, theater in the parking lots, spontaneous dance parties. I also love to get out of the city, hiking in the mountains or the desert, scuba diving, skiing, looking for modern ruins. But I also appreciate mellow nights at home, bbq out on the deck or ordering in from this amazing afgan place down the street, catching up on movies or bad TV.
I like to travel, I've had some amazing trips to Argentina, Brazil, Japan, Mexico, Alaska. I'm inclined to be the person exploring the ruins, or riding horses through the mountains, or sailing, or scuba diving, rather than just lying out in the sun.
I play and produce music. I make music for a modern dance company based in Brazil and I have also worked with choreographers/dancers here in NYC, and my music has been used in a some films/TV. I have a few records out and toured the UK and Argentina.
I'm a lawyer, but I don't live to work, I work to live. I really enjoy what I do and wake up happy to get to work. But I don't work weekends (well, almost never).
I have a farm in Ireland where I raise trees as part of a Irish/EU program to recapture greenhouse gases.
I recently took a meditation class and I am loving meditation.
I don't really watch televised sports unless it's the focal point of some party or social event. I don't play video games.
I'd like the person I'm involved with to be open minded. Hopefully you like listening to music around the house and occassionally going out to catch it live. You won't mind checking out a band with me even if you're not familiar with it. You're not turned off by the thought of an afternoon in a modern art museum, though maybe you prefer to consume art during breaks at the summer warm up parties at PS1. You're kind of intrigued by the decay at Coney Island. You're always trying new things. You would rather listen to npr than have the TV on. You're not afraid to get out into the woods, but you are also comfortable dressing to the 9s. You are a searcher.
Notes: If your dog "will always be your little man," then you will have lots of time to wonder why you're alone. If you think photos of your food, your drinks, your feet, your view, your beach, is interesting, I hate to tell you... it's not. Use your head, that's what's hot.
