I am more the exception than the rule as men go…
Not the TV sports fan, in fact don’t even care for sports at all, nor am I the Great Hunter out to prove his manhood (rather walk in the woods and observe instead)... I stop for directions (OK... Occasionally!) ... I love the outdoors, walking, hiking, camping, rollerblading, working in the yard. (Like to rollerblade, have to admit I'm a wee bit rusty…) Hobbies… home repair, plants, water gardening, grilling, wine tasting, cooking and entertaining. Good Food always needs friends and a great bottle of wine... As for my choice in wine, I tend to favor Reds... I volunteer and help others whenever I can, I always get back more than I give. I’m active, and keep very busy, so TV tends to be is a luxury at times.
Music tastes range Female vocals to Classic Rock. (sorry just not big on Country, Rap, Hip-hop or Metallica). My personality tends to be easy going and very easy to talk to, honest, friendly and confidant, loyal, affectionate, fun loving, even a little romantic... I’m thoughtful, generous, sincere, and truly value close friends and family. I like thunderstorms and rainy days, dining in with a movie, just as much as the evening out on the town. On a typical day you would most likely find me in jeans… Up for a Lazy Sunday morning with coffee, brunch, or a glass of wine on a relaxing restaurant patio somewhere... Weekends, I can be up and out early for errands, or off for a road trip to the country… Wanna come?
If I could envision a mate, Hummmm… She would have a "Great" smile, a radiant natural beauty (I’m not into heavy makeup, but then, I’m not your typical superficial male either, big isn't always better, as natural works just wonderfully for me!) …funny, a bit mischievous, spunky, joke and able to kid around, poke a little fun, and laugh at herself.... a Brunette… (Match said we are allowed to dream a little here! Okay, Red, Black, and Blonde works too), height to weight proportionate (or somewhere in the neighborhood, give or take), similar or some common interests to mine... Extra points… U rollerblade, love red wine, volunteer, like antiques, garden a little, are giving, forgiving, and love the simple pleasures in life…
Red flags… Smoking… (While I’m PC enough to date someone herpes given your honest and upfront about it, I do however absolutely draw the line when it comes to smoking) Sorry, just like green eggs and ham... “I would not, could not… will not...” date a smoker… Other RF’s are drugs, lying, manipulators, anger issues, vindictiveness, no belief in God… are all no go’s for me.
I do ask you be a little considerate... times have been tough for some, please consider the dollar value for the man’s income... some have been hit hard by the current times, the dollar value you choose might be a wee bit unrealistic... and if you’re one of my favorites, well I’ve read your profile and found something unique about you I like, and if you've seen me on another dating site, say so or mention my ID... You never know, you might just get a "Proceed Past Go and Collect $200"!!

Believe it or not it seems one person was very put off with me because that wasn't My airplane (a friend took me for a day-trip), nor My red car (just a pleasant surprise at the Rent Car Agency), and hey, that’s My little boy either (my friend's too)... hopefully none of that will matter to you…
