I'm a beach bum at heart, originally from Huntington Beach, and I moved up here to go to school at UCLA. I ended up loving the energy and lifestyle of the city so much that I never really moved.
I work in sales for a company that concentrates on the needs of small businesses. While most people are terrified by sales, I love the challenge it presents and the fast pace nature of the job. I mean I get to talk with people for a living, what could be better than that? Granted some of my clients are old enough to be my father, but I make it work. I'm pretty ambitious, and my goal is to become a VP at my current company or eventually start my own business.
When the weekend comes and I want to have some fun, I like to get out of the house and do something active. My two favorites are playing beach volleyball on Saturdays in Manhattan Beach or surfing in Malibu with the guys. I know it's been a good day when I come home with trails of sand, damp board shorts, and a stomach full of Mexican food (a must.)
I also like going on hikes or runs, cruising down the Venice boardwalk on my bike while listening to music, or just going down to Main Street for a bite to eat and some quality people watching...I mean reading.
I'm a white guy who can dance, or at least I think I can.
I also sing in the car, shower, and pretty much everywhere else.
My kind of woman:
I'm looking for someone who is high energy and likes to stay active, if you can keep up with me then we'll get along just fine.
She has to be self confident, competitive, and can handle a little sarcastic trash talking.
She's a sports fan, or can at least go to the game with me and pretend that she is.
Above all someone who is fun and goofy, because we're all dorks deep down and you have to be able to laugh at yourself.
