Relationships are best when you remember to be thankful toward your partner; this will help to appreciate what you have. Everything you do in the relationship is contagious; giving begets giving, laughter begets laughter, and so on. If you want things out of the relationship you must be willing to be that way yourself first and then the relationship will follow that lead-off; much like this simple truth, "If you want a friend, then you must first be one. " Relationships are like a plant, its either growing or withering away. There are so many things that are important to having a successful relationship, and these have to be high on that list -- communication, trust, honesty, loyalty and respect
