I've been in LA about 4 years and am looking to meet more people. I'm originally from Tennessee, but have moved around quite a bit: Connecticut, Atlanta, Colorado, Iowa.
I'm a chemistry professor and I love teaching people new things. I study global warming and air pollution. My job keeps me very busy and I have been focused on my career way too much and I'm looking for more fun in my life. I'm not as much of a nerd as you might think based on my career. I have been learning to skateboard around campus.

I can find the humor in almost any situation and I'm definitely looking for someone who has a great sense of humor. I like laughing at myself and I don't take myself too seriously.
I love travel and adventure and I'm looking for someone who likes to be outside, but is just as happy lazing around watching movies or sitting in a coffee shop. I love hiking and backpacking and I am definitely looking for people to go hiking with. I also like to play golf when I have time. I'm also a huge baseball and college football fan.
