I'm pretty laid back and I enjoy being outdoors, usually involved in some athletic activity, and trying new things. If your idea of a fun weekend involves spending most of it on the couch, we probably will not be a good match. (Exception: Sundays during football season.) I always enjoy a challenge, mental or physical.
I also like to be in the kitchen. I completed a semester of culinary school, which I've had to put on hold due to my move and job, but I really enjoyed it and hope to finish at some point. I don't think it will ever be my primary job, but it's something I like to do on the side.
I have a huge, loud, close Italian family. When we all get together, it's usually chaos and insanity but I love every minute of it. Plus, the food's always amazing.
I ran my first marathon in 2009 and completed my first triathlon in 2010. I love training and racing and I try to average at least a race a month. Exercise, especially running, helps me to clear my head and de-stress and keeps me sane. I also train and compete in ballroom dancing.
What I'm looking for: Someone I can have a good time and good conversation with. It would be nice if we shared some common interests, but I'm willing to try things you like if you're willing to try things I like. A sense of humor is key; life's too short to take yourself so seriously. Know what you want and use your words. Call when you say you're going to and don't be a liar or a cheater. Honesty really is the best policy, even if you think the truth will hurt.
What I'm not looking for: Games and drama. Someone who is emotionally stunted, commitment phobic, shady, intimidated, or disrespectful.
