I have recently relocated to Northern Virginia. A new job brought me here, but I was actually looking for a new gig after my youngest started college --- and I must say I am really enjoying it. I live in Old Town, and work in Arlington -- so have managed to carve out a pretty palatable commute.
I have a pretty challenging and demanding career - but I really love it. In my spare time, I like to play tennis (can still do so at a fairly high level), read (books, magazines, WSJ), listen to talk radio (WMAL) and enjoy quiet time with a glass of wine.
I am a big fan of Ayn Rand's philosophies (Atlas Shrugged had a big influence on me). I work very hard, and believe that those who founded this country intended for me to enjoy the fruits of my labor, and suffer the consequences of my bad choices. Hopefully I have learned over the years not to make too many more bad choices!.
I believe most of my closest friends would describe me as a thinker and a producer (to steal a descriptive from Ayn Rand).
