Well...where to start? I'm a recent transplant to LA, I came from Sacramento, where I lived for a year, and Iowa before that, where I was born and raised. I came out here to be closer to family, for work, and to escape the horrible, horrible season that is winter in the Midwest.
I work in the medical profession, and I love what I do, and I am always looking to learn more, and improve myself. I'm trying to learn Spanish, mostly on the fly at work, but I still suck at it. I'm looking to meet someone who is similar, in that they are always looking to learn something new.
I enjoy watching and participating in sports, as well as playing games of almost any kind. One of my favorite pastimes in college was waking up at 4am on Saturdays and tailgating for the football game. I can get pretty competitive, but I also have a sense of humor about losing. I'm a mean bowler, so beware.
I really love to get out and explore or try new things, but I also enjoy sitting on the couch and watching movies all night, or watching the game. One of my goals for the near future is to start traveling more, some places I really want to see are: NYC, London, Japan, South America, Australia and India. So someone who loves travel, or is world-wise is definitely a plus.
I definitely believe that if you are going to do something, you should give 100%, and do it the right way. I try not to take the easy way out in life, as difficult as it can be sometimes. I also believe that a sense of humor is essential in life, and it is very important to me. I may come off as a serious person at first, but once you get to know me, you'll see that that is rarely the case. So, someone with a good sense of humor is also appreciated.
