Hey there, thanks for checking out my profile! I’ve done the online dating thing before, and I’ve been on dates with some nice guys (and some crazy ones haha) but nothing that has developed into anything substantial. I guess I’m still looking for that intangible chemistry that can’t be described, but you know it when you feel it. I believe it’s out there somewhere, and who knows when and where it’ll happen, hence putting myself out there into the wonderful world of online dating, haha.
As for me, I’m pretty awesome. :) I’m independent, financially stable, college-educated, and have been working in the education field for five years now helping mold the young minds of America. Outside of work, I like to have a good time and unwind from the stresses of teaching pre-pubescent pre-teens, haha. Whether that be happy hour on a patio, exploring new restaurants in the area (I love to eat yummy food!), shopping, renting Redbox movies, or playing silly board games, I enjoy anything that helps me destress and relax. Getting dressed up for a nice date out on the town is just as enjoyable as throwing on sweats and snuggling up on the couch to watch a movie or crappy reality TV (Ok, I’m a Bachelor fan, don’t judge! Lol).
When it comes to my passion, I love softball. It’s my escape. I grew up playing for several years, took a break for about 10 years and started playing slow-pitch co-ed softball last year…and absolutely love it. I never knew how much I missed it until I started playing again. Other than softball, I also enjoy going on runs and sand volleyball (when I can get enough people together to play haha), tossing around a Nerf football, especially in a pool (you know the one with the little tails that whistle!), playing catch in general, bowling…basically anything active that’s fun. :)
Now, it would be so easy to knock out a mile long list as to what kind of guy I’m looking for. I’ve always been caught up in lists and criteria, but obviously those lists haven’t helped since I’m still single and looking, lol, so I’ll try to narrow it down. Ideally, I’d like to meet a nice, chivalrous, thoughtful guy who is handsome (we all know physical attraction holds some importance) and is stable guy (emotionally and financially). Basically, someone who treats me well and makes me happy (and doesn’t live too terribly far lol). Of course I’d do the same. I'm a sucker for thoughtful texts, random notes, or anything else that shows he cares. When I'm in a relationship, I also like to do the little things to make my guy happy and fully appreciate the same. I’ll even cook ya a good meal (if you contribute to the dishes hahaha). I just want to feel like the most special girl in the world, but doesn’t every girl?
