I am an old dog looking to learn new tricks. I am firm believer that you are never to old to grow, change, and learn. For the past couple of years I have become a vegetarian, which is not easy for a self professed "foodie". Having said that I will try almost any food. I recently had my first Sweetbreads and have still several things on my food "bucket list". After 29 years of smoking and with some help of acupuncture I have quit. I figure if I can do that then anything is possible! I have also recently taken up golf, and strange combo I know. Next on the agenda yoga! I still enjoy tilting a few back every now and then. Everything from a dive bar to crafted cocktails. There is nothing like a good Old Fashion or Manhattan. Love everything about restaurants, which is what I do for a living. I feel that the true measure of a person can found in how they treat the wait staff and how they tip. I love politics (not an activist) and try to keep up on what is going on in the nation and the world. I am not materialistic and have no interest in "keeping up the Jones". I feel nothing is more important then family. I enjoy the Arts but do not find allot of time for them. I am not into Face Book, I don't really have a favorite TV show other then The Daily Show, Hardball and Sports Center. I am avid reader and I am always reading something. Usually alternating between non-fiction and fiction. I do not have a Mon-Fri, 9 to 5 life, and work most weekends until wee hours. I am looking for someone who can deal with that. I would like to meet someone who has a good sense of humor and is not into drama of any kind. Being straightforward is always better in the long run, though in the short term it can get messy. Looking for someone who wants to have some fun and to share new experiences with.
