So this is me in a nutshell.
I moved back to the Buffalo area in 2009 after 12 years of living down south, so if you can deal with a little southern draw in my voice that is a good thing. Really where else on earth can you get great local beer, Beef on Weck, the best chicken wings ever, names like Sahlens Chivettas, wear a winter coat to work in the morning and need shorts by 3pm? Buffalo NY!
My Family, particularly my son, have occupied most of my life, but I am looking to make room for another person. I have aspirations of a family and more children down the road. So I do think about the long term as well as the short term.
I was a Nuclear Engineer in the US navy for 6 years and I am a very proud veteran. I can tell you more about my days in the Navy on one of our dates if you would like. I am also a member of the American Legion, and the Vice Commander of the post I belong to. Supporting and volunteering for veterans is very close to my heart. I love giving back to those who gave so much.
Career wise I work in the Commercial Energy Industry at a power plant. So when you get up in the more and flick the light on, yup that is me making the electricity.
Some of my favorite past times include fishing, camping, hiking and just exploring nature. If the phrase "We interupt this relationship for Hockey season" offends you, stop reading and look elsewhere. I wouldn't say I am obsessed with Hockey but very enthusiastic, definitely! I love sports especially Football (Bills and ND Fighting Irish), Hockey (Sabres), Baseball (Yankees). I am starting to get into European soccer, just watching it. I also like to play sports and I will try it all no matter how bad I am at first. As you can see in my pics I do have a Harley Davidson. If you don't ride you should learn, most amazing experience ever!
My ideal match should be relatively compatible with most or all the above. She would be able to teach as well as learn in a relationship. As I mentioned I would really enjoy sitting down everyday and just be able to have great conversation about work, the world around us, friends, family or just about anything. Trust is vital, it is attained through avid and honest communication. Lastly a sense of humor. If you can't laugh at yourself and life you and I would not work out.
I would like to meet someone that is independent and successful but still wants to taken care of by her partner. Adventurous, charismatic, compassionate, romantic, challenging, aggressive all easily describe the personality I am looking for.
