The general stuff: I graduated from Columbia University in 2006 and I lived in New York City for about 10 years, but have recently moved back to Minnesota.
In my free time I like to code (yes, I am somewhat of a computer nerd), swim laps (I'm a former competitive swimmer), read (a lot), see my friends, travel, and catch up on some of my favorite TV shows.
If I were to describe myself, I would say I'm a very self-driven, hard-working, independent, opinionated, real, and a kind person. I consider myself to be a fairly laid back person who is considerate, sincere, yet with a very sarcastic humor. I highly value honesty, wit, and intellect.
The reason I joined Match is because I don't go out that much and when I do go out with my friends, I'm just out to have a good time with them; not scour for guys. Plus I figured since I'm online all the time, I'd try out match.com.
After living in NYC for the past 10 years and having terrible luck meeting guys, I'm hoping that Minneapolis will be better.
In terms of an ideal "match"...I suppose I'll know when I meet him.
