I am a 29 year woman of creole decent. I"m a soft-hearted, sensitvie woman with a lot of passion for what I do. I am a hopeless romantic ....yes we still exist. I'm very ambitious and driven, but i know how to balance work with play. I love to sing, listen to music, write (poetry and screenplays), dance-especially latin dance, and basically anything that has to do with the visual and performing arts. I LOVE music. I listen to a little bit of everything from rb to hip hop to the classics to rock to reggae and reggaeton. It really depends on the mood I'm in. I might even throw on a little jazz. I will say this. Boyz II Men is one of the best male groups of all time. Don't judge me. Just recently saw them at the House of Blues and they still got it. I enjoy traveloing and would love to visit as many spanish speaking countries as I can. I just love Spanish and Latin influenced foods, culture, dance, etc. I do speak a little Spanish, but not much anymore. If you don't use it, you loose it...i guess. I love to enjoy life and have fun. I'm very family oriented and enjoy a good laugh wherever I can get it. I love God and thank him daily for all of the blessings he has given me.
I'm originally from Louisiana. (Yes, I can cook.) I just recently moved to Houston, TX and am loving it. It took me going to school in New York to truly appreciate the south. I like to think of myself as a good blend of city girl and country girl. I can truly appreciate and enjoy the fast paced, culturally diverse atmosphere of the big city, but I can also throw on some cowboy boots and zydeco dance the night away.
I currently work as a School Social Worker, but have ambitions (...and planning to go back to school) to one day found and operate my own charter schoo management organization. I absolutely love working with children, especially kids that have been abused/neglected. I'm extremely passionate about the work I do.
I enjoy meeting guys that are spiritually grounded, loving, passionate, affectionate, intelligent, family-oriented, patient, and ambitious. I also love a man with a sense of humor. I'd like to meet someone who is real and not into playing games. Consistency is key. I love a man who knows who he is, what he wants, and where he's going. I also like guys who are creative with their dates. I'm an avid believer in "it's the thought that counts" . So, a guy who actually puts some thought into an outing can definitiely win some points with me.
