I live to create. Whether this is through art, gardening, cooking, building, I feel most complete when I am able to put my talents to work improving something or make it entirely from scratch.
Above all, (and not too sound too much like a hippie but..) the connection and flow of energy between me and my partner determines my level of interest in a relationship. I am very open minded about belief, peoples hobbies, and what each individual feels is their path in life. I would rather have stimulating intercourse over a bowl of cheerios than be with a dullard who shares all my same interests. I find moral value, honesty, intellect, compassion, hard-work, and humor to be highly attractive qualities. In memory of Cat Stevens, I am looking for a "Hard headed woman." Someone who is my equal, and who can give as much as they take.
I realize the irony of using an online dating site in attempt to meet someone I have a energetic connection with, but it all starts in the mind right? So at the very least, I would be excited to find new friends, people I may not usually come in contact with.
I hate traveling, laughing, being happy or "being in the present moment" - and I find "New" experiences to be highly overrated. Smoking of any type is for the low class, and I only drink on birthdays, and holidays that fall Friday-Sunday. What really makes me angry are those people who always think "it will be better tomorrow" or "the future is always bright."
I find sarcasm to be funny.
Seriously though, pretty much tired of girls who just want to have fun all the time, and are more interested in peoples opinions of them, than they are about their own inner clarity. Down to Earth? That would be awesome. Deep soulful connection with another human being? Sign me up. Don't get me wrong, I am all about fun, but nothing is more fun to me than really knowing and loving someone.
I can change a tire, build you a house, I can grow enough food to feed a family, I can quote you poetry, I can write you poetry, I'm a great cook, I love to massage, listen, talk in detail, would love to take dancing lessons with you, would love nothing more than to get to know who you truly are, but if you can't or will not try to shoot a gun, or you are from Stockton, please don't email me. I'm sorry, but I also have to say I'm weary of Atheists, but I am willing to discuss it.
