When I told my mom I was going online to date, she paused, getting that crinkle between her eye brows. Then she answered "why don't you try to meet a nice dentist in your area?" Mmmm.
I'm from Seattle, and lived in Sun Valley, ID., San Francisco and Sydney before landing in leafy Marin. My two sons (7 and 10) are rock stars; I won the lottery there. And their father is very involved and we get along well.
I tend to see humor in my everyday. So many moments warrant an eye roll, shrug or smile, and I hope you look at life that way too. I appreciate a man who, like me, leads a healthy, active lifestyle. I'm lucky to come from a great family and credit them for my being comfortable in my own skin (remind me to thank them next time I call home). I find confidence, a quick wit and cleverness in a man very attractive. I value kindness and ask for it in return. Passion? Has to be there.

Losing myself in hot yoga or hiking in the trees. Getting scary close to snort laughing with girlfriends. French wine. Coaching soccer. Pointing my skiis down a steep hill. Sencha green tea. Movies and books that stay with me. NPR in the morning. Avocados. A household full of friends, family and kids (great if you have kids too). Flip flops. Hershey's chocolate. Driving on the open road to Idaho...
So let's see how this online thing goes. It's got to be better than trolling Marin for dentists, right?
