I am new to the Springs, as of August, and have been loving Colorado! It's certainly different than Chicago, but it seems to be a good fit for me. I'll always have a bit of citygirl in me (hence the name), but a more relaxing pace of life in a beautiful location is good for the soul. I am so excited by all there is to do outdoors and I don't think I could ever get tired of looking at the mountains. All in all, the move was a great decision! There's just one thing that could complete the whole process...
I am looking for someone who I like spending time with...plain and simple. I don't have an agenda and to be quite honest, I'm still not quite sure of what I think of this whole process. I am willing to find someone wonderful and see where it goes.
I would describe myself as a happy person who truly looks for the best in life. I have an amazing family, wonderful friends, and I love my job. I feel so fortunate to be living this happy healthy life and I don't take it for granted.
When it comes to work I'm assertive and a real go getter. When it comes to dating I'm a bit more old fashioned. Don't get me wrong, I'm independent and confident, I just like the feeling when a man is watching out for me and paying attention to me. Little things like opening doors, pulling out a chair, or taking my hand as we get out of a cab make all the difference. Little acts of kindness make everyone feel good and they don't go unnoticed with me.
In a partner I am looking for my equal. I will offer friendship, respect, communication, compromise, excitement and intimacy. I am looking for the same in return. I am most enamored by a man who can teach me something new or can expose me to new places and experiences. The times when you learn and grow together are the moments that leave a lasting imprint on your heart and mind. I truly believe that much of what we experience becomes all the more meaningful when it is shared with someone special. I feel as though I am ready to meet that someone, now it's just a matter of whether or not I've come to the right spot!
