Love to travel (who doesn't?). Give me a map, a new city, and some walking shoes and I'll find you the best cafes and some crazy new friends. I've been to 28 countries, lived in Cambodia (Peace Corps), Greece, and Italy, and I'm itching to travel more. Work, grad school, and ambition are keeping me in this wonderful city at the moment but I hope to travel somewhere in South America in the next year or so. I'm adventurous and looking for someone else to swap travel stories with...or at least plan to make some!
First thing people notice about me is my smile -- I do it constantly. I love to laugh and I'm always looking for something (or someone) to put a smile on my face. As cheesy as it sounds, I try to live each day to the fullest (carpe diem, la vita e bella, whatever cliche phrase you use) and have a positive outlook on life -- something that I look for in others. Trying new things, exploring new places, enjoying the work I do, great food and wine, amazing friends and family -- these are the things that make me happy and keep me smiling.
Work and school have kept me pretty busy this past semester but I make the most of the time I have not hunched over my computer and books. Whether it's meeting friends at a happy hour or trying a new restaurant in town, I make time to have fun. I love hiking and spending time outdoors (Great Falls is my favorite place for it) and when I don't have time to get out of the city, I just put in my earbuds, put on some Black Keys, and start walking. I've lived in a number of different cities and this one continues to amaze me. No, I'm not a hill staffer or obsessed with politics. It's just the juxtaposition of the old and new that you find everywhere here and the ambition and energy people have that make this city great.
I'm looking for someone who is motivated, hopefully enjoys what they do, and knows how to have fun. Above all, I'm looking for someone who enjoys the simple things in life -- be it good conversation over coffee or just reading a good book.
