About me, and my life at home.....
I'm 38, but read at a 42 year old level, I'm 5' 10", but I act like I'm 5'11". I love to be active, however I'm not really a gym guy. I am wary of women who wear pearls and people who plan their lives down to the last insidious detail. I enjoy the outdoors as well as hanging out around the house. I have a passion for sailing and a love of music. I was raised near Seattle and the San Juan Islands, then moved to Virginia in May of 2008. I live alone and have no children. I love traveling and spontaneity. Even though careers and responsibilities often get in the way, I think it important to take advantage of opportunities for adventure. I am generally a "jeans and t shirt" kind of guy, but I like to get put together and have a nice night out every so often. My friends have described me as hilarious, and intelligent (I don't necessarily agree). I hope they would also say that I am always up for fun and adventure and I am a caring and honest (sometimes too honest) person. I love to travel and do so, from time to time, for work. I would love to find someone free spirited that takes advantage of exciting opportunities when they are presented and has the courage and strength to follow through.
