My name is Charlie. I joined this site because dating hasn't been very exciting in my area (and because Ricky Martin is already taken!).
I was born and raised in Erie, Pa. I lived three awesome years in Tampa, Fl where I got my undergraduate degree in Spanish. I moved back to Pa in 2010 to earn master's degree in education (graduating in May!!). Even though Erie is no Florida, I like my life here, for now, because I am around most of my family. I am (about) half Italian- family is everything. I am also a volunteer mentor which I find very fulfilling. I'm not sure where I will be 6 months-1 year from now because I'll be looking for a place to move to start my career. But in the meantime I would like to meet someone worthwhile to spend some time with.
My friends would probably describe me as loyal, level-headed, and genuine. I'm a creative person who likes art, museums, fashion, architecture and all that cool stuff. Languages and cultures intrigue me. My favorite foods are seafood and Middle Eastern. I want my next travel destinations to be Spain and India.
I am open and comfortable with my sexuality and I am looking for a guy who is also. At first glance, I am attracted to tall, masculine men with dark features -- Italian, Black, Latino, Middle Eastern-ish. But that is definitely NOT a deal breaker for me. Honestly, I care about what's on the inside more than what you are born with.
