I've tried this whole online dating thing for awhile now. I have met some nice guys, but have not me the one or anyone remotely close. I guess I'll keep going a bit more but no high expectations.
I am a bit old fashioned where I like the guy to make the first move. Whether or not it's the first move on here, on a date, or whatever. I will send some winks or messages but I definitely like the guy making the first move.
I am at a point in my life where I want to move forward and find a partner and start a family. I don't want a casual relationship. I want someone who is ready for the next step in their life. I would like to have a child in the next couple of years.
I have a bit of an unusual job. I am in Northern Alberta 3 weeks a month and home for a week. I have been flying back and forth for over 4 years now. My job isn't for everyone, but I like it. I am hoping to be home for good by the summer 2013. I want a life and a family.
I am not a bar person. I don't mind going out to a pub or somewhere for drinks, but I've never been one to go out and get drunk every weekend or every night. I definitely do not enjoy dance clubs. I cannot dance to save my life. 2 left feet for sure.
In the time that I am home, I like to see friends, movies, concert, fixing up my house, relax watching a movie, cooking, basicaly normal stuff. When the weather is better, I like to go for walks. I would definitely like to travel more. There are so many places in the world that I want to see. I love relaxing on the beach in the summer.
I'm looking for someone who looks past the appearance and looks at who you are as a person. Looks don't last forever. I want someone with a good heart and a kind soul.
