I love music and the creative arts. Like to keep active and spend time both outdoors in nature and also enjoy the city life... but nothing tops the comforts of home, good company and the love and laughter of family and friends!
About me (and Bella)? A typical snap shot of our morning starts with a smooch on my nose from Bella, a belly rub (hers) a little yoga, then we are out the door for a walk, then for coffee in the garden, or at a favorite cafe. On weekends, anything goes (within reason) I'm always up for trying new places and new restaurants with friends, but also like to chill/relax at home too. Love great conversation and home projects, walks at sunrise and sunset, and anything under a full moon! I am equally content with a movie and always willing to share my popcorn! In spring and summer, I like out door concerts, to paddleboard, to kayak, to cook out with close friends, and to wiggle my toes in the sand! I root for both the O's and Nats, and am always up for a round of mini GOLF! In the fall and winter, I enjoy hanging in by the fire, cooking in, walks in the snow, skiing, skating, strolling book stores, and to cheer on the Caps and Skins. If you happen to like match lists, I suppose I could keep going, but I would rather find out what is on your list and learn more about you.
Making time for eachother, family and friends is as important as having quiet time - balance is key! I am creative, outgoing, spiritual, and love nature. I enjoy meeting new people, and discovering new places off the beaten path. I would absolutely love to travel if the time and person/relationship feels right. I am happy, genuine, loyal, easy to talk with, and have a wicked sense of humor. Friends say I have a heart of gold - a huge passionate Italian/Irish heart (with a little German and Gypsy on the side). I can be a little spicy, and at times a little firecracker, but am also sweet and thoughtful, and not afraid to go deep or let you know what is on my mind. I am a good communicator, young at heart but an "old soul," try to be a good listener, a loyal friend, compassionate and supportive.
I hope to meet someone who is smart, kind, thoughtful, honest, down to earth yet confident, genuine, affectionate, playful and fun to be around. He likes to stay fit, but doesn't live in the gym. He loves life and is loyal to those he cares about. He is open hearted (not a player/or is done playing) and ready/open for a relationship. He is honest about who he is and what he is looking for. If he is a father (or an uncle), he strives to be an excellent one. Mutual attraction, chemistry/connection are as important as being best friends. Having shared core values, dreams, and interests is a huge plus...as is being grounded in family and friends. For me, it is about the way we will feel when we are together. So much more I'd like to write (reveal) here but would rather tell you in person. I am sure we will have a lot to find out about each other. First, a few things...
