Hmmmmm, what to say.....
First off, I am 34, not 29. I have changed my age on my profile, as I am noticing that I am primarily being contacted by men over the age of 40. So, it was suggested to me that I try to put myself into a different search category, since I do not look anywhere close to "over 30" anyways. Most people peg me in the 25-28 age range.
That being said, I have listed my age requirements specifically. If you do not fall into my requested age range, please do not contact me, as I am not interested. That may sound harsh, but it will prevent a waste of time on both our parts.
Now to the specifics...
I'm a Southern girl, born in Tennessee, but raised in Virginia since I was six months old. After a warm weather vacation including scuba certification two years ago, I decided I was tired of the cold weather, and moved down to Florida a few months later. I have a great job, at a great company, but unfortunately have not had the opportunity to meet many people, even after almost 2 years. I love hanging out with my friends, and my family means more to me than anything, so this has been the most difficult part of moving down here. Well, that and these pesky little lizards running around.
I love being in or on the water, be it the ocean, a pool, or a lake. I have a music collection that spans just about every genre. I can't even begin to pick a favorite. Warning: I like country music. Yes, I will admit it. It goes nicely with my Southern accent. And even more so with my cowboy boots. And no, I don't expect you to have a love for country. But the ability to tolerate it would be a plus.
I have a 3 year old dog, Zoe, who is my sanity. If you don't like dogs, puppy kisses, or a furry cuddle buddy, I'm not the right girl for you.
Everyone says they're looking for someone who can make them laugh, and I would be lying if I said otherwise. I'm known to be silly at times, and I know how to laugh at myself. Don't feel bad for laughing at me when I walk into the sliding glass door, because I'll most likely be giggling as well.
I'm not looking for someone who is constantly on the go. I can't travel the world at the drop of a dime (neither my boss nor Zoe would be too happy with me). However, weekend day trips are doable, even if just to a beach I haven't been to yet. Someone who is spontaneous and thoughtful and wants to keep things exciting is important to me. If we can have fun together, no matter what we're doing (such as playing mini-golf, going to car shows or amusement parks, hanging out on a boat, playing in the rain, etc.), then I'm happy. I also love lazy days on the sofa watching tv or a movie. Especially when it's raining.
I'll get dressed up when I should, but you're most likely to see me in jeans, a t-shirt, and flip-flops/sandals on my days off.
Also, I'm not into playing games. I graduated high school years ago, and have no intentions of pretending like I'm still there. Although this seems obvious, much like the "CAUTION: hot liquids" statement on a McDonald's cup, there is a reason I feel I have to say it.
I am an open book... What you see is what you get. Good, bad, or otherwise. I'm sarcastic at times, but I was raised to be respectful of others, so I do know when to turn it off. I also believe if you can dish it out, you should be able to take it.
It appears, living in Florida, that I also have to add the disclaimer that I despise seafood of all kinds.
