Yes…once while I was at the gym my mind was elsewhere after my workout I guess. So, I’m headed to the women’s changing/locker room (which I might add was directly beside the men's room, which means it truly wasn’t my fault :) ). Anyways, I’m strolling inside the room minding my own business when I round the corner and I see a guy changing. I stopped dead in my tracks and I know my face looked like Kevin from Home Alone when he realized he had been left! I could feel my face turn beet red! Of course I had the light bulb moment realizing what I had just done. So, I naturally did what any composed, intelligent woman in my shoes would have done… I immediately went into covert operation mode trying to discretely back out without being noticed. And wouldn’t you know as I’m slowly backing out of the room, (not looking behind me), I literally bump into a guy who just so happened to be walking in? He looks at me, shakes his head and laughs saying “I saw that!" Needless to say I was mortified, but I couldn’t help but laugh. I STILL shake my head when I think about it! Lesson learned…reading is so fundamental!
Now that you’ve had a laugh at my expense :), let me tell you a little about me…
Hmm...let’s see where to start, well, I’m a creative, affectionate, pretty down to earth person. I’m fun loving, I have a great sense of humor, (or at least that’s what my sister tells me. HA). I’m also very health conscience. I’m interested in total body wellness. That’s a passion of mine. It’s why I’m pursuing my BA in Nutrition. And while I don’t require that you’re majoring in Nutrition, (HA HA), it would be nice to meet someone who had similar interests and shared a passion in total body wellness as well. It would also be cool to have a work out partner sometimes, (though I’m not running marathons any time soon!).
What else can I tell you? I have a close knit family. I love to cook (I make a great omelet, among other things). I also love to read. I can lose myself in a good book vs. watching something on TV any day. I know I’m reading a book that truly has my interest when I can envision what’s going on…as if I were watching a movie. I can be quiet at times, but I’m definitely not shy. I can have a dry sense of humor, (think Seinfeld…another favorite show of mine). I have a strong belief in God and my faith is very important to me, and I want someone who feels the same. I’m interested in a serious relationship. And while I’m not expecting a proposal on the first date, I’m also not looking for casual romance. I’d like someone who has a sense of humor and likes to try different things, but also doesn’t mind occasionally relaxing at home watching movies. I like someone who can hold a conversation, knows what he wants and is direct, (but tactful…and that doesn’t mean walking on eggshells).
And since I don’t want to make this bio any longer, because then it would look like I was rambling, I guess I’ll stop here. :)
