Short answer: I am a happy, kind, fun loving person who likes people. I am stable, healthy, have a decent job, a nice home and have the desire to find someone to share my life with.
Long answer: I have great kids (one adult, and three in college), a great job that I love. Life is good, because I believe life is what you make it. I know that I have a lot, but, life is too short to not make the most of it. I am looking for a good man to spend it with. For my adult life, my kids have been my life, but, as I look to the future, I would like to find someone to share the highs and lows of an ordinary day - someone to share your thoughts, worries and dreams with... all that ordinary stuff. I try to be open minded and I guess I like to give people a chance, but there are some things that are important. I am looking for someone who is honest and trusting... someone who enjoys life, both the grand adventures and day to day grind. I am one of those people who likes to find the good in most situations... I can have a great time watching a movie or watching the stars, taking a drive or taking a walk in the park. I enjoy going to the theater or going to watch a game. I enjoy building a jigsaw puzzle or building a set of shelves. I can carry on an intelligent conversation and can be silly the next minute. I am flexible but would like to meet someone who can appreciate me for who I am. There are many things I thought I would do in life, and find myself thinking... it is still not too late. I am confident enough to do those things alone, but know that the right company makes the experience so much more enjoyable. I hope to find someone who wants to see what is out there to find -or make- great memories. I am straightforward and believe that honesty is the only policy. I am looking for an honest man who knows how to communicate, who understands the value of partnership, and who is ultimately looking for a long term relationship. I can cook, but would enjoy someone to cook for. I guess I am a bit traditional, but it would be nice to have someone to do things for. I don't mind pampering you when you are sick, or listening when you need to vent. I am loyal, supportive and caring. (just need to find the right person to be loyal, supportive and caring to)
I would like to start with finding someone who is there at the end of the day (in person or in spirit). Someone to talk to, someone who looks forward to being with me. Someone who likes to hear good morning each day and a random, "I am thinking about you" message during the day. Someone who appreciates the little things that show you care. I believe you never stop learning, so would like to have someone to share new experiences with. I have a tremendous respect for others, and believe that we should always try to bring out the best in those we are with. I believe it is never too late to make positive changes in our lives, and am taking active measures to improve my mind, body and spirit. (I have worked hard to lose 60lbs, and probably need to update my photo)
Well, I guess that is a start. If you read it all, I am impressed... (I have been told I can be long winded - but I am a great listener at the same time.) I guess you have to start somewhere. so, send me a message. I don't want to go into this thinking I have to find the perfect person... because that isn't realistic... I am far from perfect and don't want to create such a high pressured situation.
Not too many good things happen in a giant leap... but they start with a single step.
final note... I am not into games or using people. if you are just looking for names, or you aren't really who you say you are, then please count me out (silly to have to say this, but you would be surprised) because the truth does come out.
