Describe myself? Hmmm... where to begin?? OK- off the top of my head, I'm passionate, kind, loving, genuine, spiritual, driven, creative, unpretentious and positive. I’ve spent the last 18yrs of my life as an accessory designer. While it was fulfilling on a creative level, I have for as long as I can remember, wanted to be a psychologist and concentrate my efforts on helping others. A few years ago I began making this career change. And although leaving a successful career to go back to grad school at the age of 40 was not the most popular road to follow and a bit scary to say the least, I just couldn’t stand the thought of another 40 yrs passing without having at least tried what I was most passionate about. Fortunately I have been able to reorganize my life in ways that allow me to pursue this dream. Six more months and I'll have completed my second yr of Ph.D. And..as a side note, for anyone who has a nagging dream that won't go away..from personal experience I highly, highly recommend going for!! Balance in love and work is something I strive for and admittedly struggle with at times. I recently received a great compliment from someone who had only recently met me. He said, "Nothing about you is mediocre. Everything you do, you do with passion.” I think that’s true about myself and would like to be with a man who feels passionate about his choices in life as well. I have a lot to be grateful for and try to remind myself of that as often as possible. In fact, I have a grateful list that I say to myself before going to bed- I’m looking for a special man to add to that list. The very special guy im looking for is spiritual, faithful, honest, genuine, sexy, sensual, affectionate, romantic, grounded, levelheaded, reliable, fun, funny, and passionate about me and other things important to him in life. The man I want to be with can describe himself as positive-a glass 1/2 full kind of guy. You are healthy in mind and body as well as grounded and stable. My ideal relationship is one filled with passion, mutual respect and lots of laughter. We HEAR, SEE and UNDERSTAND each other- love and accept each other exactly as we are. We are each other’s biggest cheerleaders and are there to remind one another of our greatness especially during those times when we’ve lost sight of it ourselves. In my last relationship I learned what it feels like to be adored. At this point, I can't go back and am looking for a relationship in which we, among other things, adore each other. On a lighter note, I love to laugh!! I love water and anything that has to do with it. Sunsets, beaches and fire are some of my must have's in life.
