I graduated from Miami University in May and received my MS in Kinesiology and Health. While there I completed a thesis involving simulated altitude and repeated sprint interval performance. For my work the university sent me to Liverpool, UK to present at the European College of Sports Science. It was an opportunity that was well worth the work.
I'm a shy individual initially but very laid back. Personally, I think I belong out west in CO or CA, but I'm in Ohio for now. My hobbies include snowboarding, mountaineering, and bouldering. Unfortunately, these hobbies are hard to do around here in Ohio. I would have to say the most memorable experience I have had would be in Nepal this past summer. I had the opportunity to climb Island Peak. It was a challenging experience, but it made me appreciate the amazing view.
I currently work as an EMT while applying to PA school. I'm retaking a few classes while working on my required 2000 paid healthcare experience hours.
I enjoy doing crossfit and spinning. If I'm not working on school work or at work I'm usually being active. I'm still debating whether or not to run the Cols marathon, it would be my first.
I'd like to find someone who has similar interests. Someone that I can be open with and that can be my friend. I recently saw a movie that had a line that I thought was amazing....."The person you want to be with is not the person you want to spend friday with, but the individual that you want to spend all day Saturday with." .....it goes something like that anyways.... I'm open to anything and like trying new things. I am a very adventurous individual and usually won't say no to anything....I'll do anything once.
Not really sure what else to say....have any questions feel free to ask and can't wait to hear from you!
