I am a woman who enjoys the simple things in life. When my dog “smiles”, warm sun on my face, seeing my niece take her first steps, snowy mornings, cooking a great meal, sitting at the base of a mountain after a long day of skiing and drinking a beer while gazing up at the mountains I have just conquered (ok, that was a bit specific), spending time with family, having a great workout, BBQs, football on Sundays, a great bottle of wine, sitting in front of a campfire...ya know, that kind of stuff.
I am looking for someone to share LIFE with. To be REAL with. Someone who makes me laugh. I love spending time with friends and family. And I believe in the quality of relationships, rather than the quantity.
Originally from St. Louis, MO, I did some moving around when I was younger. Most of my family still lives in that area, so I get to see them often. I was raised in a Christian home and still go to church on a semi-regular basis. I do much of my spiritual growth on my own time through reading and/or journaling. Fell in love with the Chicago area about 6 years ago. However, I feel most at home in the mountains of Colorado. Not really sure why I don't live there, but someday, maybe.
I am a social person who loves meeting new people, but also enjoys a quiet evening at home with a great meal and good movie. While I would not consider myself completely spontaneous, I am always up for trying something new. I workout 6 to 7 days a week and enjoy sports (watching and playing). I am quite health conscious, but have been known to indulge in pizza or mexican food. I also love sushi and indian food. I like to travel, and someday want to revisit Portugal and Spain.
