One of my most valued qualities in myself and others is being humble...or at least avoiding too many of its antonyms. I am comfortable with who I am and confident in my abilities, and I think that arrogance is just something people experience when they are....perhaps compensating. There is a fine line between confident and cocky, and my aim is to walk on that line. If I can be as honest as possible, I think I am a kind, funny, good looking and talented guy, but you will never hear me say that outside of this profile. Hopefully, my personality speaks for itself.
I am first and foremost a musician. I have some ability to play the piano, (i.e. I passed my piano proficiency test in college, though 'proficient' is relative term) but my principal instrument is the voice; I am a singer. Right now I work as the choral director at the community college in the area, and substitute teach on my other available days. I have a rather charming tenor voice which you can hear if you would like.
Juggling is a big hobby of mine, and it was also my profession for a time. Busking (street performing) is a ton of fun and even though it is no longer my primary source of income, I never intend to stop. My ideal future scenario would be to teach during the school year, and then travel to another country and busk during the summer. Germany is first on my list due to being there for a short time a few years ago, and I have a very strong yearning to go back. It was really amazing. I have been doing a lot of fire performing recently. There isn't a great venue for it in the area, but I try to get down to Ashland, OR as often as I can where we have a fire troupe that performs regularly.
It makes me feel nice to treat a gal well. It is important to have strong women on an equal footing as men, but chivalry doesn't have to die in the process. I am looking for someone who is confident in themselves and curious about the world around them, someone who understands sarcasm because it is sometimes the only language I can speak, someone to have a good conversation with, to have fun with, and who knows what else.
